Kerr & Associates will tackle problems and challenges around management of the coastal and marine freshwater environment. We have a special interest in advancing marine conservation in New Zealand and the Pacific region. We are happy to have a discussion with you about ideas, projects and needs.

Marine survey and monitoring, marine habitat mapping, marine protected area planning, traditional management, environmental campaigns, communication and media development, environmental education, community engagement (working with Iwi, working with the NGO and not for profit sectors, working with the government), project management, ecological assessment and planning.
Kerr & Associates team has a passion for and a background of conservation and marine work. A common theme in our approach is the integration of technical perspectives and information with sound communication strategies and community engagement process.
Kerr & Associates is led by Vince Kerr, who has been at the forefront of marine protected area work in Northland over the last decade. Vince's work is described in more detail under our Bio and Works pages.
